Achievers’ Crew partners Igbogbo Day Central Committee to organise career guidance

As part of its contributions to development in Igbogbo, the Achievers’ Crew, a developmental, social and community – oriented group, is set to assist youths in their career path to a better future.

This, the group intends to achieve through a sponsored programme – Career Guidance and Counseling Session, which is part of the educational programmes of the 2025 Igbogbo Day Celebration.

The educational programme that is slated for De Shokis Hotel, Igbogbo on Friday, November 30, 2025, is being organised in partnership with the Igbogbo Day Central Planning Committee.

Dr. Olumide Olusola Metilelu, an Associate Professor with the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) will lead the session with Mr Waheed Kasali, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Institutions as Guest Speakers.

Other speakers and resource persons are Funke Akindele, Award-Winning Filmmaker & Director, Coach Wale Adejuyigbe, Leadership & Educational Consultant and Mrs. Agnes Iyabo Elusakin, award -winning Principal, Oriwu Senior Model College.

The session would focus on self -awareness and self -confidence, vocational skill and entrepreneurship and career paths.

According to the organisers, graduates, out of school students, SSS 3 students and those that are acquiring skills are expected to participate.
